I love that they don’t care about how many presents they get, they’re just glad to be home and around family. I wish our world was more like that.

We don’t know as much pain as they do. My mother and her brothers and sisters never got a lot of Christmas presents. And they didn’t care, because they were living in the middle of a war and were glad they made it home alive every day.
